I’m happy to report that we’re all okay here and the house came through intact as well, although we did have a power outage that lasted about 24 hours.
Here’s a short timelapse video I made, containing both east and west views from my house as the storm was approaching. Most of the impact in this area was high winds, along with flooding rain.
Once again, sincere thanks to everyone who has contacted me with their concerns and prayers over the past few days, I really do appreciate it more than you know.
Unfortunately, many other areas of the state got partially or totally wiped out, especially along the coastlines. My prayers now go out to all of them. It’s going to take a very long time to rebuild, but we Americans are a resilient bunch, so I have no doubt we’ll get there.
